Sealing Public Criminal Records
Expunction, Expungement & Certificate of Non-Disclosure:
A public record of a person’s criminal history is easily accessible through the internet. If you were charged with class A or B misdemeanor or any Felony in Houston/Harris County, there will be a record of the charge at the HARRIS COUNTY DISTRICT CLERKS OFFICE. Dismissal via a Deferred Adjudication is a public record even though your case was dismissed.
All class B and A misdemeanors and all Felony charges are forwarded to the NCIC (NATIONAL CRIME INFORMATION CENTER) and the TCIC (Texas Crime Information Center). These criminal records can have a severe impact on your reputation, choice of jobs, relationship potential, etc.
If your case is not handled correctly right from the outset, your criminal history can follow you for the rest of your life. If you want to do something about your criminal history, read on and then call me if you think I can help you. I have 20+ years experience in Criminal Law, I’m Board Certified® in Criminal Law and I bet I can help you.

Need Help?
If you were accused of a crime and looking for help, don’t hesitate to contact my office or text me directly at (713) 228-4607.
My office handles 2 types of criminal records sealing;
Expunction (Expungement) & Certificates of Non- Disclosure:
EXPUNCTION: With the right set of facts, Felony Expungement/Expunction is the way to go. Felony Expunction/Expungement orders erase all records of the offense. All arrest records, records of the court and criminal history are struck, leaving you with a clean record. You are eligible for Expungement/Expunction in a few circumstances.
Dismissal of your case via a Deferred Adjudication termination/dismissal does not qualify. Eligibility can come from an outright dismissal, pre-trial diversion, or Not Guilty at trial.
I strongly recommend using a Board Certified Attorney for this because the process is tedious. If all State and Federal agencies such as the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), the FBI, Texas Crime Information Center (TCIC), etc, are not notified correctly, and if you miss one of the multiple State and Federal agencies, your criminal history could be republished to all.
If you’re not eligible for Felony Expungement or Expunction orders, you may qualify for a Certificate of Non-Disclosure.
